I am a Bioinformatics PhD student based in the Immunotherapy Group at Newcastle University (Translational and Clinical Research Institute), interested in pathogenic mechanisms in tissue across immune-mediated inflammatory disease.
I am a post-doctoral researcher within the Immunotherapy group at Newcastle University. My interests are primarily around cellular communication, with a focus on spatial biology via high-plex imaging platforms using tissue sections. As well as wet lab skills, I have experience in analysing large single-cell data sets via R/python.
I am a consultant sonographer in Newcastle Hospitals NHS Trust. I have a keen interest in abdominal transplant, liver and head and neck imaging and spend much of my time doing US guided interventional procedures. My research interests are varied but my PhD was on assessing kidney transplant micro-vasculature with 3D contrast enhanced ultrasound.
