Dr Lucy Jones is a Senior Clinical Lecturer and Clinician-Scientist at Cardiff University, alongside working as an actively practising medical doctor in Wales. She serves as Co-Lead for Lymph Node Research UK and Lead of the GW4 Lymph Node Research Network, helping drive the network's mission to upskill researchers in lymph node immunology. She trained as a medical doctor and attained her research doctorate at St Hugh’s College, University of Oxford. She has a wet-lab and clinical research background and her research focuses on vaccine and infection responses in older and clinically vulnerable populations. She investigates immunological mechanisms to improve patient outcomes. She is passionate about collaborating with patients, the public, and industrial partners to translate scientific discoveries into tangible, real-world benefits for patient care.
